João Caneco's story is one of resilience, determination,

world of fitness and bodybuilding in Portugal, João faced
challenges with limited resources and support. Despite
these obstacles, his commitment to achieving a physique
that embodies his dedication and hard work is undeniable.
His ability to overcome adversity and strive for greatness
in bodybuilding, while also nurturing his creative talents,
showcases a multifaceted individual who embodies the
spirit of perseverance.

the interview:
Apollo GT - Let’s start with your childhood, when you
were just a kid had you ever thought you would grow up
to be a fitness model?
João - Fitness model no. But when I was very young I saw
many series on television for kids and there were always
super warriors, and in the movies too. All of them had
muscular bodies and I liked it. So I just started to do sport.

Apollo GT - Were you timid when you first started going
to the gym?
João - No. I started to go to a particular gym which was
very old, built by a friend of mine. There I learned to do the
exercises that were in the books. Portugal is about 50
years behind...
